The RGD61ALA is an RGD series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the metal focused Axion Label line.
The RGD series guitars have a body based on the RG series but with special bevels and deep scoop cuts in the horns. They also have extra long 26½” scale necks.
The RGD61ALA features an ash body bolted to a panga panga and walnut neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 Sub Zero treated frets, white step offset dot position markers, and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Fishman Fluence active humbucking pickups, a set of individual Mono-rail fixed bridges, a plastic nut, Gotoh locking tuning machines and Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins. It also has a luminescent Ibanez logo on the headstock.
The RGD61ALA was discontinued after 2024.
